PM Rotor Banding Machines
Banding machines for permanent magnet rotors, to secure and contain the magnets on the rotor, counteracting centrifugal forces at high speeds.
Thermoset and thermoplastic tapes, with optional in‑situ curing.
Laser consolidation for thermoplastic tapes as an option.
Rotors from 15 to 500 mm outer diameter.
Achievable stress on tape up to 2000 MPa.

Banding Laboratory
Rimac Banding Lab is a well-equipped applied technology center featuring advanced and flexible rotor banding machinery. It is used to conduct banding tests on rotors of various configurations and sizes.
