Automatic machines to bond magnets on the rotor surface (Surface Permanent Magnet rotors), and machines to bond and insert magnets into lamination stacks (Internal Permanent Magnet rotors). Rimac machines can handle and apply both magnetized and non-magnetized magnets.

  • Reduction in production time.
  • Reduction in production costs.
  • Enhancement of the quality level of the finished product.
  • Maximum process repeatability resulting in compliance with the required quality standards.
  • Risk reduction for operator safety from both a mechanical perspective (crushing with magnetized magnets) and a chemical perspective (use of harmful substances to health and the environment).
  • Full compliance with Industry 4.0 requirements.

Technical features:

  • Handling and application of flat and curved magnets
  • Handling and application of magnetized or non-magnetized magnets.
  • Integration of advanced and high-precision dosing systems for the accurate dosing of the required adhesive.
  • Polarity control system to prevent application/insertion errors.
  • Possibility to process rotors of all diameters with maximum accuracy, from small actuators to large torque motors.
  • Different levels of automation available depending on the required productivity (e.g., robotic systems)
  • Maximum process control and repeatability.
  • Flexibility to manage a significant production mix.
  • Possibility to set and store a work program for each specific rotor reference.
  • Integrated remote assistance module: Rimac technicians can remotely connect to the machine and initiate a real-time remote assistance session. By accessing the control panel and PLC and then checking the operation of the machine, the Rimac technician can intervene directly and fix the problem or provide timely guidance. The module can be connected via Ethernet connection, Wi-Fi or GSM card.
